Showcase Concerts 2009 - 2012

Back In 2009 I selected a handful of composers who would closely collaborate with me on the development of new works for saxophones and new media. The only stipulation was that the works be developed in close contact between the composers and myself. In this way, I am able to work hand in hand with the composers in the development of the works, in recording source sounds for instance, or in developing and discussing notational implications for the pieces.

The 2009 concert was a feature concert of works by Isabel Mundry.

Since 2010, the showcase concerts included works by PhD composers of the School of Creative Arts, and since then there have been several concerts of this kind.
